A range of earthenware Indian pottery including teacups, incense holders, aromatherapy oil burners and glass oil burners, and teapot and cup and coffee cup sets.

Handmade pottery thrown and glazed by hand and wood fired in a wood burning kiln. This pottery employs over 20 people, mostly women.

In the part of India where the pottery is, there is an intentional community which has been operating for 30 years to improve conditions and has created enough infrastructure that there is sufficient forest growth to provide firewood for everyone’s needs and a source of clean water in every village.

In effect this has freed up a great deal of time, which has allowed local people to use their traditional skills in cottage industries manufacturing goods such as this pottery. This in turn provides a source of income and allows a better quality of life - for example children have the opportunity to go to school – and adequate food for all the family.
